I have a 1999 manual-drive Toyota Corolla. It has low miles, 84K, and no accidents, but I ran over a plastic bottle of black paint a couple of years ago. The driver's side has a big, black rooster-tail of black all over the doors, and the bumper has a few scratches. Is it worth the money to get it repainted before trying to sell it?

i think there would be many less accidents if people were more concerned with PREVENTING them than in worrying about who is, or was, at fault.
If you Prevent an acident, no one is at fault, because nothing happened. Right?

I have a 1990 21' Bowrider with a 5.7 Mercruiser 260 hp drive. When I am cruising under 3000 rpm I have no problem at all other than the steering seems sluggish. When I am cruising at speed and over 3000 rpm for no reason, the boat makes a sudden and un announced hard right hand turn. Also when I am cruising up to 2800 rpm then back off the throtle hard, it pulls hard to the right.

Any thoughts on this? The hydralic fluid is full and the boat runs and preforms great except for this problem.

Thanks for suggestions.

I've bought this car last week and today someone from dealership called me and saied that the need my proof of income. Well I have no problem with that but since within a week i took this car three time to service department for minor problems, I'm thinking that this is a good chance that i dont show them the proof of income so maybe they take the car away. Because if they cant approved the loan, it means that I never purchased that car. What is my answer?

My Honda Shadow fork seals have been leaking for several months. Usually I could only notice some light rings but now it's a little bit more. It's not terrible but just wondering if should be more concerned.

Please don't tell me to get a new car because that is not an option for me right now. I have to keep this one cobbled together. I have a 93 sunbird and the radiator leaks and steams and gets hot after driving only briefly...can you tell me how much the repairs or replacement are likely to cost?

They all seem to have websites and vacancies. If someone has a technical background in industry and post-secondary education, is it possible to get employment without knowing "insiders"? Is it like many industries where you need to know someone, or get experience on a small short line or something? is it still a viable option for most people, or are they super selective these days?

I have a few scratches on my new car that I got this morning. Two of them are about 2 inches long on my passenger side door and there are a bunch on the rim of my tire on that same side.

I work at a car dealership and the manager I talked to said that the starting price is around $65 depending on how much damage there is. Does that sound about right or is that too steep?

Where can I find a VIN on a 1991 Chevrolet 3500 besides the windshield and the back side of the door? I bought a truck, but I have suspicions it's stolen or something. It's weird, I'm 99% sure the title is real (looks real, plus it has the eagle watermark when you hold it up to the light, kinda like on money), but on the title, the VIN is only 14 characters long. They have got a matching tag of the 14 numbers riveted to the inside of the cab, where the door closes. The tag looks like it's made of sheet metal, it's not even cut perfectly square. Very shady. Stupid me, I paid for the truck without checking. He told me that the cab isn't the orginal, so they had to swap vins. I don't know. I want to check to see if the chassie or anything would have a VIN? Also, if I could get some advice on what you think is going on. I'm going to the BMV tomorrow, see if they can tell me if it's stolen or not and WHY the VIN is only 14 characters.
