Who makes Hyundai Cars? Are these foreign cars?

Does anyone else think that BMW 3 series new styling is a bit Japanese??? I mean, from 1999 through 2006 you couldn't mistake a BMW. When I first saw an 07 model, I actually thought it was a Toyota.... Just wondering

The ignition has a choke on it and worked until I got the boat to the lake and then it wouldn't start. I can't find the schematic to the new ignition and don't know where I can find one on the net, any ideas?

Ok I really need help first off: how tall do you need to be to ride in the front seat of a car with an airbag?? second: how much do you need to weigh to sit in the front seat of a car with an airbag?? And third:what is the average ten year old boys weight?? Anyways i wake up every morning to find that my ford explorer is always dead cold. The engine i mean. When i start it, it is always on C for the the temperature gauge and never in the middle. Only when i turn it on and let it warm up, does it warm up. My dads truck is not like this it remains inbetween the C and the H every day and never changes. Is there something wrong with my explorer?

it sounds like a rock or another hard object is being knock around like a rock in a can...the sound will be loud then out of no where stop then start back op again, when i press on the gas the sound goes nuts...anyone know what i could possible be and how to fix it..and could it be due to bad/low oil?

We have a 2002 ford windstar. We had the codes checked and we were told that it was 2 of the downstream O2 sensors. We changed those, and still the van is chugging really bad. Does this mean that we need to change spark plugs??? If so, which ones or do all of them need to be changed?? Is there anything else that could be causing the problem?? Any help greatly appreciated. example someone I know has gotten speeding tickets and tickets for having accidents etc. these have caused him to loose his license once. now it looks like he only has one more ticket to go and he will not be able to drive ever again. this does not make sense to me. how does this ticket thing work?

I have the piston at TDC but I see no obvious marks as to how to place the cam in position. Is there a way to know this or is it just a guessing game. there is 1 large hole and 2 small holes 180 from each other. There is a symbol on the cam sprocket but I don't think that is the mark to line it up. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay i have a 1997 Toyota Camry with 137,000 miles on it
i have had a few problems with my car not many but i had 800 dollars of work done ( i am only 17 and paid for the expenses myself) anyways i just got new tires and now
-when accelerating it vibrates above thirty most of the time
-if i go over a small hill it will vibrate
-when i let off the gas pedal and lightly press it again it will vibrate and sometimes wont change gears when going i have to let off the pedal
-when on cruise it wont change gears until i take it off

What is causing this? My thoughts are my transmission or my torque converter. Any help will be greatly appreciated

ride with her to make sure everything is okay & she is safe? I just rode home from a rally & the BF left me in the rain. I was going slow due to having trouble seeing, glasses getting full of rain, etc. so he went ahead without me. Don't most riders look out for each other?

I have a 1991 civic and it just stop starting, it doesnt even try to turn on- no lights, no electrical power whatsoever so i thought that it was the battery but i just bought a brand new battery and had it put in and it still won't start the same thing i put the key in and turn it and nothing happens, the connection seems to be pretty good, also, before i put the new battery in i tried to jump start the car but it still wouldn't start. There is no noise or clicking i cannot stress this enough picture trying to start a car with NO battery in it what could be wrong

can you help me on a 2005 cummins in a delivery van, is a ISB 185 model engine, going down the road it surges and blows black smoke with every surge, seems to start and accelerate fine in Park but bad under load, appears to have fuel flow, not sure how to check amount of pressurer as the filters are prior to the transfer pump, but with a clear 1/2 inch hose stays full while running

I had my brakes changed about 2.5 years and 30-35000 miles ago.

I am not getting any squeaking or grinding but I might be getting a little pulsating at times. Maybe not, I am about to go on a 1500 ile trip and my just be paraniod!

Anyways, I overheard a mechanic telling someone they had a certian amount of milimeters left on their pads.....

Any way I can check that myself?

What is the suggested level to change them?

I have replaced the alternator (2nd one in 2 years). Power fades when driving. New alternator performed well, then the car died. Battery was reading 5 volts, but alternator was working well. Replaced the battery with a brand new one. They checked it and it is working properly. Alternator is charging correctly. Drove 1000 km fast driving. Seemed to be running very well but overheating. The cooling fan did not come on when stopped. Could hear fluid bubbling when checked engine. Now the car died again. Alternator was checked at dealer as ok, but new battery is reading 5 volts and cannot be charged. Will need to replace it. Dealer says the problem is only the battery. Is there something else which is causing the battery to become fried if the alternator is working correctly? How could this happen? Been living with this for about a year, and I am ready to give in. Assistance is appreciated.
