I like anything with 2 wheels and an engine.
It could be a bunch of pipe welded together with 10" trailer wheels and a lawn mower engine LOL
125's are fun bikes to ride and great starter bikes.
I'm a tall guy and I'd never get bored on a 250

small bikes r ok if that is your preference, fit is right and the price is right. not everyone likes to ride them but that is their preference. the people who make judgments about a particular bike is their opinion but at the end of the day u r the rider of your bike and it's what u like. so who cares what they think. enjoy your ride and be proud of what u own!

in some states you have to have at least a 250cc bike to ride on the interstate. scooters are not 50 state interstate legal no matter what size because of their small wheels and instability at higher speeds. (Hawaii, Alaska, Florida do not allow scooters of any size on their interstates)
I ride a Kawasaki EX250, and am constantly told its a girl's bike. I don't care, I like the bike, so I ride it. it doesn't matter what other people think- as long as its legal, and you like it-- ride it.
but do take a safety course first: http://www.msf-usa.org

you gotta ride for yourself. if you let others tell you what to ride you are not gonna like it i am sure.
just get one that fits your size and budget, then consider "fashion sense". in the end no one cares what size bike you ride, but you.
make yourself happy, you are the one paying for after all.
and i quote" scooters are not 50 state interstate legal no matter what size because of their small wheels." thats total bull. mine is a scooter and its "50 state interstate legal" matter of fact, its legal in over 100 countries.

As long as America has cheap gas, no one is going to give you cred for a small bore bike.
