I'm looking to buy new tyres for Mitsubishi Triton 06 model. We go 4 wheel driving on sand and also in state forests, nothing too demanding though. I'm after a good all rounder and something that looks good too! Standard rims (16") fitted and i don't want to change them. Thankyou!

I am a 1st time buyer of a car. I am reviewing Santro xing (~ 4 Lacs), Indica Xeta (~ 3.5 Lacs), Palio Stile (~ 4 Lacs) and Vagon – R (~ 4.3 Lacs).

I am personally inclined towards Palio, but I am concerned about the services they will offer and the mileage of the car. Fiat is saying that they have come to India with the TATA network of services, but how long they will continue as I get a feel that people in India don’t prefer Fiat as we don’t see them very often on road.
I like Indica xeta as well, this being spacious amongst all, but again concerned about the maintenance as they say TATA is an unpredictable brand. I don’t like the look of xing & wagon R much at the same time they are not as spacious as other two. But they are more reliable and fuel efficient than the rest (tata & fiat) and talking to people, they suggest either xing or WangonR. I am confused.
Can you suggest me a car? I request suggest me your pick and also rank them in sequence. Thanks. Sandesh

I am looking to buy a classic motorcycle. I like the look of the early 60's to late 70's Harleys but a lot of people say they will need constant work to keep them on the road. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this? what are some of the common problems with these classic motorcycles?

I just bought a Nissan Sentra 2001 GXE with only 25000km. The power steering is quite stiff and it feels like a manual one. My wife complaint about it and says it is hard for her to turn the wheel drive.

I left it in a hot car and it melted all over the passenger seat. The car seat is not leather, it's the sort of fabric you find in cars. Irrelevant, but my car is a '96 Accord, so I guess those of you with that car know what fabric i'm talking about. I've used everything from stain remover, "Goo Gone" (says to take care of crayon stains, but doesn't, bleach, and a lot of rubbing and blotting.

I know crayon is a wax. I was told to take an ice cube and rub it along the stain and grab something sharp to flake it off, and even melt the wax again to wipe it. Havn't tried it yet though.

We purchased a car this weekend, and paid by check in full. However, when we got home, we realized the contract was a Retail Installment Agreement (citing a specific loan amount). After spending an hour in the finance office fending off the finance guys repeated offer to sell us on stuff, we were too mentally exhausted to notice. Is this standard practice, or did we get scammed?
