1991, 92 and 93 all have the same motor and are acceptable.
Truck does not have to be running.

Thanks for your suggestions......... I tried most of the publications suggested with no luck.
Must be something about this truck.
I don't want to buy the truck, we need to study the motor to design a bracket that will allow a 2nd (additional) alternator to be installed on this truck. Of course the owner will be paid for allowing us to study / view their truck for a couple of days.

Most Atlanta area car dealers are listed on Autotrader.com. Autotrader.com lists vehicles as old as 20 years.

You may also want to try the Autotrader and Truck Trader magazines. My brother-in-law recently found the exact truck he wanted using the magazine.

351's were made with 2 different blocks, 1 was a Cleveland and the other was a Windsor. the Cleveland was a small block like the 302 and 289,more like for a car, the Windsor was a big block like the 352 ,360,390(406 cubic inch) a heavier engine, and a longer stroke motor, more like for a truck! You might find a good used one in a salvage yard somewhere close to where you live! Good Luck!
