When I turn the ignition to start the car it sometimes just "clicks" without turning over at all. After about 3 turns of the key and 3 "clicks" later the battery (with clean terminals) will turn the engine and it will fire right off. I thought maybe the battery or starter, but it turns the engine over strong,.....when it engages. Does it sound like something electrical?? It used to help when I moved the gear shifter around a little bit, but not any more. Thanks for your help.

I recently purchased a 1995 dodge stratus as a work car...wanted to know if the car initially came with a factory alarm or not. how would i find that information out? I am having problems starting the car. Some are saying the car isnt getting any power. Some are saying the alarm is locked. Was driving perfectly until alarm problems started. Someone that is interested in fixing the car for me is asking whether or not the car came with a factory alarm by dodge or did the person I bought the car from install it. Can't get in touch with the person I bought it from so how would I know?

I have a yamaha r6 and every morning when I go to ride it, it will not start. I charge the battery for about 20 minutes and the bike is ready to go. When I plug the battery into the charger it shows that the battery is at about 5o percent , after the 20 minutes the reader says 100 I take it out to ride and then in the morning it does not want to start. The battery is only 6 months old. Bot during those 6 months that I had the bike it was in he shop getting frame work because it fell. What could be the problem?

Its bad enough listening to people talking on their mobiles and cocky loudmouths showing off by swearing and putting the world to rights but heat - pure heat drifting endlessly from the depths of the bus - its enough to put you of travelling

Its best to walk - you feel better too anyway!

I have a 1989 Oldsmobile. Lately it has been sucking up gas like crazy. My exhusband would keep up on maintanance regularly but since i left i haven't really been that good at the upkeep. . Any idea what it could be? Maybe tune-up or oil change?

I have this Mercedes-Benz 1991, 190E, 2.6. It is a rear wheel drive and all my friends have been scaring me- "it would be a bad car for winter. It does snow in Omaha, Nebraska quite a bit. So...my question to friends is- What can I do about it? I thought of buying a 4x4 truck or cheap, old Jeep Wrangler or an SUV. After winter, I can sell it back with minimum depreciation. (I may be wrong in my calculations).
I know, it will be more expensive to "winterize" my Merc.
Any input or feedback from friends here will be appreciated.
Good Luck and God Bless You All.
Friend

The motorbike test is currently being revised (again) and we will see riders having to pick up a couple of new skills in order to earn their licence. If you raise the issue of the test with a trainer, many of them tend to feel that the test is being made so hard that it is close to - if not already - deterring riders. Yes, (car) driving standards are not what they should be - particularly with respect to motorbike awareness - and good training saves rider's lives, but even with that in mind, is the test too hard?

When I ride bikes with my so called friends they always sponge my money from me, like when I stop for gas they use the same pump and fill up their bikes and I end up paying for everybodys gas, and when we stop to eat I always end up paying the bill for everybody, just the other day we stopped at this ice cream stand cause one guy was thirsty, and all he wanted was a iced tea, so everybdy else grabbed an iced tea, so i figured iced tea wasnt that much, so being a nice I guy I elected to pay for everybodys drink, then after that they all ordered burgers, and ice cream and fries, and I ended up paying $40 for everybody and they didn't eat all the food, they complained it wasnt good enough and thru it against the wall of the ice cream stand.
