What is the difference between them? Does it depend on horsepower only? Is there any motorcar with a V14 engine?

The letter is the engine configuration, the number is the number of cylinders.

V is a V shaped engine.
W is basically two Vs put together
I is inline
F or H is a flat/horizontal (used by Porsche and Subaru).

There are currently no V4 engines in cars. The Inline configuration greatly increases power over the V configuration, so for tiny engines Inlines are used.

Nothing to do with horsepower. It's the piston configuration. The more pistons, say a V12, the smoother the engine. V12 is as much as is usually used for car engines. There's no reason why more couldn't be used, but they're not. The only difference is the number of pistons. The capacity of the motor usually increases with the number of cylinders, but doesn't have to be. Some V6's are only 2 litres and others are 4 litres. Some V8's are 3 litres up to 6 litres. There's no gain in power from using more cylinders, the only gain is smoothness,

the only major difference is number of cylinders. as for horsepower generally yes the more cylinders the more horsepower. say you have a V6 with cylinders that are four inches wide now a V12 with the same cylinder size would have tons more power. now take and decrease the cylinder size of the V12 to say 3 inches you don't get as much of a raise in horse power but the engine will last longer because it is running smoother. now a V16 in say the lambos generally doesn't have a whole lot of horse advantage to a V8 in say a corvette that is because the cylinders in the V16 are smaller than that of the V8 but if you took a V16 with the same size cylinder of the V8 it would smoke the corvette. as for the V14 i personally don't know of one but that doesn't mean that they don't or didn't use it.

aranging the pistons in a V makes the engine compact not as long as a straight 8 cyl. The more Cyl's the smoother the engine becomes. And as an added bonus more horsepower. VW has expermented with W-16 engines three rows of Cyl's (Bugatti Veyron) 16.4 essentially 4 GTI V6 engines One of the fastest cars on the planet. Currently I cannot think of a 14 cyl car.

Both are usually appeals for things you ask for selfishly or ought to take care of yourself. The Lottery costs you a around 70 cents for each dollar of return on the long term, and it has only materialistic benefits. Prayer doesn t cost you anything, the results are based on the request s agreement with the perfect divine plan, and it can have eternal benefits. The Lottery will break your bank account, but investing in prayer builds your heavenly account -- if you have accepted the deposit that s waiting to take you out of the red.
