I was looking to buy a used one for $4,800. I am also taking it to the mechanic in a few days before I decide if I will buy it or not. Please share your opinions.

even though the price prob sounds good to your ears, the milage is pretty bad. I am sure for a few more bucks you can find the same car with lower miles. Even if nothing else is wrong with the car the high milage will sooner or later mess it up. Especially since it is a used car the question is if the previous owner did all the maintnace to it like regular oil changes and stuff, because if not give it a few more hundred miles and that thing will break down. Look for something with lower miles and a little higher price, that way you don't spend extra money on fixing stuff. Good Luck

Don't buy that old of a nissan sentra. Nissans are good cars but the sentra from '00-'06 have alot of problems and is made in Mexico. Look at Honda civics or Toyota Corollas.
