The battery light on my bmw 323 ci keeps flashing every now and then, it always happens when i turn the car on and keeps flashing for about 10-15 minutes and then just switches off again. Sometimes it'll start flashing whilst i'm driving. I haven't got a clue what could be causing it, so any help would be appreciated!!!!!

i just replace the water pump and one of hose clamp wasn't tight enough an while i was driveing the hose came off an d the engine shut down on me i tried to start it back but it won't start so i spoke to a machanic friend of mine he told me it might be just a water gasket because theres no oil in the water so i took it to a shop to have my gasket replace but the machanic said my engine is busted but i know it's only my gasket so if anyone out there can give me some advise on this problem it will be greatly appreciated.

The stole the rims and tires, but other than that there doesn't seem to be much damage. The keys were in the car when the police recovered it.

Hey guy's. I've heard that Nissan's 300zx series have a special drop for a vette engine. Is this correct?

Does anyone know how much it would cost for a new one?

Any experiences with this swap before?

HELP please!

Thanks in advance.

I'd like a quieter muffler without the interior drone (resonance) and vibration. I liked it when I first got them, but I'm getting tired of the noise which is just short of being a nuisance. Someone recommended Magnaflows, but is there anything quieter than those? And if I redo the pipes from the cats back, what size would you recommend, as I currently have 2 1/2''s off each side, to a 3'', back to 2 1/2''s out. Any suggestions?

We have a 2000 protege LX, now the rear passenser side foot well are full of water. I think the drain hose is clogged and the mechanics said the drain hose is missing. The drain hose for the evaporator. I can't seem to find the drain hose. I saw a little black hole under the hood below the two lines goes into the ac.
The mazda dealership said the hose costs $31 and labor $400. I hope I can do it myself since I don't think it's that hard. Do I have to lift the car up to find the hose or to replace it? And where is it?

Also, I know it's special for protege, but why would the water coming in from the carpet beneath the front passenger seat instead of the firewall?

Thanks

Josh

Can you over heat your car? even with out driving it?

Well the car window sustain injury if left not slightly open, considering the amount of heat in the car?

Will it cause windows to crack, or make sounds considering how hot the weather is? Or make other parts of the car make noise?

And could it ruin your radiator? or ruin some other part of the car considering the amount of heat there is outside such as 104 degrees?

I was on the Highway the other day and my car just shut off, my alternator died. Someone told me its just about the time it needs a new alternator (around 60 thou miles he said). But i have a "soundstorm" 1500 watt amp and 2 kicker C12's in my trunk of my 99 chevy monte carlo, (with a stock alternator and normal battery). Today i replaced my Alternator with the same stock type, A.C. Delco. Do i need to get a deep cycle battery or a capacitor or am i all set with my new alternator ?

My husband wants to get a motorcycle and i'm worried about the safety of riding motorcycles. There are a lot of accidents and we have a daughter and one on the way. I'm just curious if it's the crazy, unknowledgable riders who are crashing or if it is really a dangerous way of transportation. Thanks for any info.

I'm 17, obviously an inexperienced rider. I have a Ninja 250, blue, very nice actually. Anyway, my transmission WILL kick in to first from neutral and back to neutral from first, but from first or neutral to second it wont shift. (alittle confusing I know) I was thinking I either need to bleed out the clutch fluid and replace it, or I have a problem. Being 17 i dont know much, so i would like to hear from experienced riders.

I have several oil spots on my drive as a result of an oil leak which I did not have chance to fix for several days. Is there a product in my kitchen for example which I can use to clear them away or do I have to get a special type of cleaner?
