I'd like a quieter muffler without the interior drone (resonance) and vibration. I liked it when I first got them, but I'm getting tired of the noise which is just short of being a nuisance. Someone recommended Magnaflows, but is there anything quieter than those? And if I redo the pipes from the cats back, what size would you recommend, as I currently have 2 1/2''s off each side, to a 3'', back to 2 1/2''s out. Any suggestions?

Just go buy the stock exhaust fot it and your problem will be solved, also flowmaster 50 series are quieter than the 40 series.

If the tail pipes terminate (end) under the car, the sound will bounce around under the car.

You may want to extend the exhaust tips just past the rear bumper by about an inch. That way the sound is expelled from under the car to behind it.

(Cheaper too)
