The stole the rims and tires, but other than that there doesn't seem to be much damage. The keys were in the car when the police recovered it.

They only cover you if you have the "dumb-***" coverage.

Why don't you just call a locksmith to come to the car and cut a key if your worried about someone having your keys you can get all the lock's re keyed as well. Being old as you state it's probably not a transponder if it was a locksmith could program those as well. You can re pin a old lock to fit a different key it's really not that difficult of a procedure. You don't have to buy new locks and tow it to a garage and do all that other great advice you've been given. A lot of locksmith do work with roadside companies as well so some of the cost may very well be covered.

Sounds like somebody wants the insurance to buy them new flashy rims and tires. Must have been a real POS if all they wanted was rims and tires and didn`t even touch the $800 stereo you forgot to take out

That should not be a problem In addition keys were not needed to get to your rims and tires.

In the future do not leave your keys in the car.
