purchase the 25! I actually have a 14ft wilson flier tri hull and its outfitted with a yamaha 85hp 2stroke,i troll and have by no capacity encounted any problems in any respect, its authentic to assert that it supplies slightly extra smoke off while accelerating after a time trolling in spite of the fact that it quickly clears and we could face it with the 25 outfitted you are able to have some relaxing between fishing spots, Horns improve out my brow when I throw the throttle open!

You do not mention anything of the control circuit. You may have variable speeds wired into it or you may have a rheostat that also may control the speed. It appears like you are just wiring it direct to the battery.

sounds like you just bought someone elses problem. maybe whoever had it before has straight wired it due to a variable switch problem? open the top part and give a look.
