I'm taking the test in about a week, and I just wanted to know if you get your license the same day you pass, or if you have to wait for it to come in the mail or something. Also, I was wondering if parallel parking is something they test you on

They will either give you a sheet stating you have a license or your actual license. I'm really not sure.
I'll know soon though, I'm Canadian down at my boyfriends in st pete fl and my crap luck- my license is about to expire so I need to go get it updated here. Hopefully that can be done!
Parallel parking is normally mandatory but call and ask because if it is and you fail it, you normally will not get your license.

Not sure about the parking test. New drivers got their license right after the test when I lived in Florida.

You get it the same day. And parallel parking isn't on the test. At least it isn't in Orange county.
