I have used them once in my life. I'm not a big fan of them. I take it you bought some used rims. The studs will be under more stress but depending on how you drive, you may not have any problems. The next time that you get wheels look for the proper lug pattern and with the correct offset and wheel width.

good luck.

I have been a tire repair man for a many of years and you can use them but there is a certin amount of torqe that you must put on the wheels to keep your luggs from backing off, and with the adapters you will not achive this torqe so you run the risk of losing a wheel, some times you get lucky and they work great but then there is that slim chance of them not holding up, and the reason the stud broke off is the tire tech doing the job torqed them down to spec but failing to check the torqe with the adapters, so he actualy tightened them too much, that is why the stud broke

I personally dont like the spacers because they never seam to leave enough threads on the wheel studs to properlly tighten them which usually damages them when you take the wheel off. I have sean people that use longer studs and they seam to have better luck with them.
