nope just undo the rocker assembly. pull the rods and get a mechanics stick magnet and pull them out of the hole

Probably not but look at the lifters when you remove them and see if they are in real bad shape because you might need to also replace the cam shaft. As you can wipe a cam lobe with new lifters.

You wont need to remove the heads but you will have to remove the intake manifold and remove the valve lifter guides and retainer>

Nope.
Remove and replace the water pump, gasket, and timing chain and gasket on the TC cover while you're there.

ADDED:
You should replace the camshaft at the same time.

Remove valve covers, rockers, push rods. No need to remove heads, all though not a bad idea while in there.

Change the filters, all the fluids, including brake and your timing belt/change too. Change the waterpump while they are in there.
