I've never done it and recently was informed I should be doing it every 300-500 miles (oops) anyways, what should I use, where can I get it, and how do I apply it? I saw some spray stuff, do the auto parts stores (pep boys, autozone, etc) carry them? Also, do you just apply it, move it so that the chain rotates, then apply the rest (Since not all of the chain is exposed) I"d really appreciate some help. Thanks!

I need an inspection done on my car before the end of August. My check engine light is on, so I went to Auto Zone and they say it is the oxygen sensor that makes that light stay on. In order to pass my inspection, I have to get a new oxygen sensor placed in my car. If I don't I'll have to pay for the first inspection, fail it, get whatever it is fixed, and then pay for another inspection. I'd rather skip all that and just get it fixed before it is inspected. I drive a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire GE. Are oxygen sensors easy to put in? In other words, is this something I could do by myself (the part costs $70 at autozone) or am I better off just getting somebody else to do it and pay them? I'm trying to save money here, I am working my way through college. I just want the smartest choice.

I bought a car about an year and half ago, ever since it keeps breaking down every 3 months something! well now its worse! my gasket blew and i needed to re-surface the cylinder head well i looked and finally found a mechanic, well he fixed it for 980.00, about 3 or 4 days later i noticed oil coming out and white smoke from the back of my car. I told them they said they forgot to seal something in the engine. So they fixed that, well now there saying its the piston rings there stuck to the pistons! and i need to pay another 2,000.00. I cant afford it! and the warranty doesnt cover it. what do i do ! I felt they ripped me off! basically i payed one thousand for nothing just to drive it a week n half!

My husband traded his 96 Acura Integra GSR (which was in great running condition (only 156,000 mi) and hookedup I just wanted a 4 door) for a 94 Ford Tuarus SHO (109,000 mi). The first week that we had the car it was leaking gas (we put $40 of gas in it and drove it 8 miles and it was on E), so he took it back to the dealer and they had paid for it to get fixed but we had already lost money from my husband missing work. 9 days after the gas leak was fixed the lights would not turn off draining the battery and now there is a loud grinding noise coming from under the car. We went back to the dealship and what it came down to is we would have to give them $300 in order to trade in the SHO for another car. We don't have any money to put into this car or another one. How would we go about getting what we deserve? As we expressed to the dealership we only want a safe care for our 16 month old son. We don't feel that's too much to ask for. When full it will only show half a tank and isnt pulling the fuel up from the rear tank to the front.Fuel pump and relay have been replaced.ANyone have any clue what the problem is?

It has only 6500 mile's on it, yesterday it worked just fine had'nt had any problems with it at all, go out this morning to go to work and it wouldnt work at all. Any suggestion's on what it might be and how to fix it would help, and how much it could possibly cost me. Cables are tight at the speedometer and at the front wheel connections.

hi, oh well very good way to start off your freshman year in high school, well me and my dad, he was driving me to school, well we were about 3/4 way there and my dad slowly stoped behind a car, well some b***h rear ended us, i was like dang it and was realy to go out of the car and hiy her hood with a baseball bat, well i steped out and it was a about 17 year old girl driving her bro and his freind to school, she walked out and begged us not to call police, that they will make a deal or something, we had to get to school casue it started soon, but there is a broblem, she did thos damages: rear bumper crashed, support safety bar bent, van back door pushed in, and a wing by the rear light pushed in, but there was no damage to her car at all, i know that we should of called police and straighten everything out, but she begged, so she gave us her phone #, now we called her mom, she said that she is thinking that we want to take advatntage of them cause there were no damage on their car. The TGV of France can take passengers in greater safety and comfort, not to mention efficacy to anywhere in the country and even out of France. Seeing the rapid rise of fuel, why don't we as a country demand a better source of public transportation. Amtrak is known for late trains and derailments. Not to mention that they SHARE tracks with regular freight trains AND have to pull over at the next station until the freight passes them!

I just bought a used honda and it keeps saying enter code. I found a sticker inside my glovebox with a 5 digit code on it but I tried to enter it and nothing happened so is there a certain way it has to be done?

My rearview mirror has come off my windshield on my '91 Mercury Cougar. I bought a glue kit to put it back on and it says to remove the "button" from the rearview mirror so that it can be glued back on separately. The "button" looks like it should slide out of the rearview mirror but it doesnt want to come out. Does it slide out? Am I just not using enough force? Please help. Thanks.

ok.. i have a 95 monte carlo and i have a key for the ignition and a key for the trunk. im not sure if i need another key to unlock the doors because the one for the ignition and the trunk wont open the door and i found that out the hard way.. so my question is, is there a different key to open the doors or is it just messed up? please help, i want to key a stereo system but i cant lock my doors and i dont wont anyone to steal it. thanks
