is there a certain way I have to put in the radio code on my 94 honda accord?

I just bought a used honda and it keeps saying enter code. I found a sticker inside my glovebox with a 5 digit code on it but I tried to enter it and nothing happened so is there a certain way it has to be done?

My car didnt come with the manual

HI VICKIE; If that 5 number is your code for the radio.You must put it in right the first time if you don,t it will lock up on you for 24 hours before you can try it again.If you don,t have luck with it you will have to get the serial number of the radio and go to the dealer so they can look it up.Most of the time they can get it for you.Good Luck .....JR

My VW was the same way. Check your owners manual. If nothing about the code in the radio section, just call your closest local Honda dealership & they can help.

Be glad you HAVE the code - I had to research & find my car's original selling dealer!

You have to enter a code when the battery is disconnected. I bought mine from carmax and was told that I had to bring it in and have them reset it. I got impatient and called my local honda dealership and they instructed me on how to enter the code and gave me the code. So I'd try calling my local dealership.

owners manual?? ok i just cheated off of them but i would of thought of that myself if i had more time!!
