Ok well I have a 1989 Jeep Cherokee and I took the oil pan off but the seal is like burnt on, so how do I get that off because it just wont come off.

use a scraper, and then get a can of gasket remover spray and spray the residual gasket material and sealant and let it soak a few minutes. It will dissolve the nasty stuff to let your new gasket seat correctly.

Tough burned on seals can be scraped by softening with carbuerator cleaner or heated with a propane torch to cook the crap out of it just enough to soften the sealer underneath the gasket. Any type of sealer including Loctite red or blue will soften with the smallest amount of heat.
Don't worry you won't warp the oil pan.

Go to your local auto parts store and buy a gasket scraper. If you dont want to do that, use a razor blade and a wire brush. Be careful and wear safety glasses if you use a spinning wire wheel. I have had pulled a piece of a whire wheel out of my eye ball in the past.

You need to get a gasket scraper, you can get one at any local car parts store, they work great.

Use WD-40 and a scraper.

brake cleaner and a tool to scrap it off or you could take a wire brush to it
