The mechanic likened the car to a "garden hose" and said when one thing breaks down - the rest follows. Also mentioned time consuming to replace parts - and needs to be through dealer mostly. I'm wondering if owners have had similar experience or - if they are satisfied, if they can recommend a good dealer/qualified mechanic in the area? Any feedback appreciated!

I just got my first bike (1990 VFR750) The bike is in perfect condition (no joke) there's not a scratch on it. Soon I'll be used to the power and looks and will want to upgrade, I don't mind spending some money, but I don't want anything cheesy like rims or undercarriage neons. What can I do to make my motorcycle sound/look cooler, and most of all make it MORE POWERFUL!
(The bike already has yoshi exhaust, full ferrings, and a rear seat coul.)

I know you can't fly through clouds unless you're flying IFR, but do you have to file an IFR flight plane to just fly through clouds, or do you just have to have your instrument rating to fly through the clouds, with no flight plan filed.

I recently got a head unit and 4 alpine type R speakers installed into my 96 cavalier...except I had to get the adapter for the front speakers to fit my 6.5 inch speakers. However, there is a awful rattling sound whenever a song has hardly any bass at all. I have the bass set at 0 on my head unit, but the rattling noise does not stop. I thought it could have been just distortion from the speakers but it sounds more physical than internal. Like my door is rattling but its not even that loud and I dont have subs. I cant figure out if it is the adapters or they screwed up something in the installation. What do you think the problem is??

I counted the tires on those big trucks time after time again and I never count 18 wheels (not unless they are including the spares), so why are they called 18 Wheelers?

Whats the engine difference between a:

Rolls Royce
General Electric
Pratt&Whitney

Mainly RR/GE engines are on offer for major commercial aircrafts such as B747/767/777/787 and A330/340/350/380 etc. but is there really a difference such as price, performance, efficiency, noise and so on?

I can only tell the difference by eye, but thats about it. An RR engine spins anti-clockwise but GE/PW spins clockwise. also, RR's engine shell is longer compared to a GE's, shorter and have a long cone protruding out at the back. And if I'm correct the RR's spin blades are curved (from the front) instead of a straight blade... also the $999.00 RR decal...

But anyway, I dunno why I prefer RR engines...

Whenever it rains or I drive through a puddle of water on the street and make a turn my steering wheel gets stiff. It causes my turns to be wide like how an 18-wheeler turns corners. Sometimes when it happens I will hear a little screeching noise similar to the sound a bottle rockets makes when it shoots up in the air and it makes a screeching sound. (I've heard this sound on other cars but that when they're starting up.) Does anyone know what is causing the steering wheel to stiffen up like that?

Ok, 2000 lincoln LS with the 3.0L V-6
pulled four codes off this car, bank two catalytic code
and misfires on cylinder 2, 4, and 5.
I am hesitant to start pulling off this intake and checking my plugs because I don't have all data anymore, and I don't have a scope, all I have is my obd 2 scanner, and a digital multi meter.
Is there a way to back probe the coils and take a reading on a digital multi? I am not ruling out the injectors but I have noid lights for them...
thoughts? Suggestions? Online manuals? can anyone give me a five minute crash course in lincoln V-6's???
