i have purchased 2 jaguars and that will probably be it too. Jaguars are really nice car, their handling is exceptional, and the power is felt behind the wheel. this is only true the nicest of the nicest. bottom line jags are sold for those without the pockets as other individuals. so its meant for regular people like the X-type or whtever the cheapest one is, i purchased one of those and the seating is not enough in the back for even children, the windows failed multipletimes, lights kept showing up, alarm system was messed up, and it becomes very expensive to fix these things, because they are jaguars. but my xj was built solid and how all jags should be built. and you wont find these are ordinary prices, plus theyre usually kept by their owner, because its something special. a nice jaguar is perfect.

I mentioned to a Jaguar mechanic/aficionado that I knew someone wanting a Jag for trips, he gave me a shocked look and said, "good God man, you don't drive a Jaguar!"

Why do any cars have a high resale value? Despite what brand it is it's still used so why would anyone want to pay a lot for it? Unless it's rare or something like that I always look for the cheapest one I can find.
