2006 model. I am wondering if this is a good deal. It seems like it--it's a nice car, drives well and hasn't had any problems. (Lease is 10 months old). Mileage is appx 12000 per year plus $0.10 per mile.

It's not my car--I use the Subway. But I'm curious. I wonder what the car will be worth in 42 months.

I am in search of a turn signal alarm ( or something similar) for my father's car because he has trouble hearing the sound and he says its dim in the daytime. Any ideas?
Please no rude comments, he is not old he just does not hear very well after being in the Navy for many years.

I would like to disable the "Door ajar" alarm/buzzer for my 1998 Ford Explorer four door. The door on the car cannot be repaired but needs to be replaced. In the meantime, I would like to disable the alarm because it is driving me crazy. Any suggestions anyone?

This is making me crazy. There is a metalic ticking sound coming from the top end camshaft area.. But the weird thing is that it goes away after it gets hot. And some days it doesn't do it at all. It also varies in volume from a clacking to a clicking to a ticking. I have had mechanics check it over, have replaced all 16 valves, and still it comes and goes. It doesn't seem to affect the performance, but with all the money I've thrown at it, it makes me crazy. Has anyone had this experience? Got any ideas? Perhaps a defoamer hydraulic lifter thing? Have tried many viscosities of oil, always keep it fresh, etc. I bought and restored this bike nine years ago and it is definitly my baby. Don't want to give it up. Help!

I already did all the behind-the-wheel stuff.
Now, I have to take the road signs test and the twenty questions test (where you can't get over five incorrect).

I'm going to the DMV tomorrow so any words of advice would be appreciated.
Wish me luck...

did a timing belt, head gasket,... replaced every gasket and seal aside from the rear man seal about a year and a half ago, to solve an oil leak, just ask ill go into that one later, but back to my question. white smoke out the tail pipe signifies water, from either a head gasket or a cracked block or head, but crompression pressures are within specification just more of a spread than i want to see. what do you think the problem is. #4 , i think i made an error in my initial reading, but it is too late now.
#1 158 psi dry, 168 wet
#2 172 psi , 180
#3 170psi, 170
#4 185, 172
i am curious to hear what you think, i get to pull it apart and find out.

I recently sold my 1990 Kawasaki Ninja 250. Now the guy I sold it to is claiming it is not street legal. I don't really know a lot about bikes so please forgive my untechnical terms. The front plastic fender? piece that keeps dirt, rocks, etc. from coming off is broken pretty much off. He is now saying that this makes my bike not street legal. He is also saying that it is illegal for me to sell him a vehicle that is not street legal.

I never claimed it was street legal or that it would even last 5 mins not to mention that a broken piece like that is pretty obvious at the time of sale. So does this really make my bike not legal for the streets? Please help!

1. Sitting at red light, a drunk driver hit us hard directly square in rear bumper. Damage to his car=totaled. Our vehicle $600 and bumper's main support system absorbed impact. It crushed the shell and absorbance foam. Impact was estimated to be at 20-25 mph.

2. My daughter in back seat sustained neck, shoulder and lower back injuries. All soft tissue.

3. Hospital bill was $2000, chiropracter $12,000. MRI that came back normal in the shoulder area, showed limited findings. $1500.

4. Today, the aduster contacted our medical provider and said he would not pay any of the medical bills! His reason, "damages to our vehicle was only $600! He did not call us, he called our doctor! Is this unethical and intimidation tactics? When the accident first happened, he said his party was at fault and to seek any medical treatment we needed, now this? He waits until my daughter is almost done with treatment?

5. Talked to several experts, said despite damages, impact was significant. help
