I have a 2000 Ford Focus the gear gets stuck in park, wipers go off and on and A/C turns off while driving. While I was driving today my wipers started going on/off by itself. Also the A/C would turn off. My lights wont turn on unless the car gets out of Park. Does anyone else have these problems or am I the only one with a psycho car?

My boyfriend and I have been fighting about this for a while. I have a 2005 Mustange and I love it. He wants the new Camero. But he loves gadgets and the weird cd player. He also says the suspention in my car sucks and it's too small (he has a '93 Cadillac now and is a big Caddy fan).

(BTW I'm on record as not being a Ford fan, I eally don't like Fords, just NEW and OLD Mustangs)

My fiance just finished the first part of his training with an over-the-road trucking company. He has since gotten a raise, and because of this we assumed that he would be making more money. He's been bringing home around $250-$300 a week, but this week he only got around $100, working as much as he always has.

This just doesn't make sense to me. I thought that over-the-road trucking paid pretty well. That's the only reason he really got into this, so that we could get some of our bills paid up, but we're going deeper into debt because of it. Is the idea that truck drivers are well-paid a misconception? Thanks in advance for your answers.

I got a ticket for not having insurance in my car. I have something I can bring in. Do they check you insurance that you bring them to get rid of the ticket or do they just want to see it?

I have a noise, not very loud, can only hear it when you are sitting on the bike, coming from the engine cover on the right hand side, the one with the oil viewing glass on it.

(Bike is a suzuki bandit 600)

It is kind of like a tapping metal sound, it taps as fast as the engine turns, except you can only hear it at 1000 revs because of the exhaust.

Some other infomation:

-Its warming up quite quickly

-The tapping noise isnt usually there

-It seems to of been since i started it and the throttle was stuck so it revved very high from cold.

-I had starting problems the other day

Any help to what it could be is apreciated.

I am unable to ride the bike at the moment, so i can not test it out on the road.

what rpm do you usually down shift at.for regular everyday driving.
I have a 1999 Honda civic ex stick shift.
the rpm on my car is 1 to 8

do you clutch then brake or brake and then clutch in when you down shift.
someone told me you don't need to brake to down shift or something

GMC 20 inch wheels with 275/55SR20 Goodyear Eagle LS-2 tires transfered from 2007 Sierra 1500 Crewcab 4x4 with SLT trailering package with 3.73 rear end, to a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 crewcab 4x4 with Max trailering package that had 17 inch wheels with Bridgestone Dueler A/T on off road P265/70SR17 tires on it. These tires are original factory installed equipment on respective trucks. Are there suspension differiences which would not allow the swap ? Will it change the towing capacity ? Can the on board computer be programed for the wheel swap ? The GMC answer is generic and noncommital.

I think carpooling and biking are great ideas, but I have never really felt great about buses. They run all day, sometimes with only a few passengers, and they take really circuitous routes to get to all their stops.

So which is better, to have people drive only when they need it, or to have buses run all day (and take longer routes) but carry multiple people? Is there a quota of passengers that must be carried for buses to truly be more fuel-efficient than cars?

Basically, I got in an accident, and rear ended a guy, I am a broke college student and am going to represent myself. No one was hurt and only my car suffered damage, I could pay off the ticket for 85 bucks, but would get DMV points. I really dont need to pay extra on my insurance!! Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do in court to get this dismissed! PLEASE HELP!

I have a 2001 Honda Civic. I have not had a single problem with this car up until now. the Temperature gage goes from Cool to RED in a matter of seconds. However the car is not/does not overheat. I was told that if I change my thermostate that that should alleviate the problem. Does this sound like it would be a solution? Also how difficult is it to change a thermostate myself? Thanks in advance
