i have a classic boat project I'm going to sell and would like to know if anyone has a general rule of how to price it as a project. Its all there, minus the engines, and needs some fiberglass refinishin work. The boat is one of five built. Whats a good percentage of the restored value to ask?

As by now you are probably aware, estimate the cost to restore and multiply it by three, estimate the time to complete it and multiply by four. A classic boat project is a hole in the water surrounded by wood into which you throw thousands of dollars.

As a general rule the right price is about 15 - 20% of it's restored value.
