Whilst the law as applicable to mobile phone use may not apply you can still be charged with not being in proper control of a vehicle. Eating a sandwich or drinking from a bottle/can is an offence whilst driving.

If you think it does not apply to you try driving past a police car whilst talking into the microphone and give him a wave.

Bet you get a ticket.

Hi its probably the same law as mobile phones, You can always cheak it out with your local police. Just as them what you asked us on here, they will be the only ones who actually know for sure. There is probably a rule in the book under number somewhere, number 1234 probably. lol

I really wasn't aware of any. I do know you are suppose to stay off of channel 19, that is the emergency channel and the police monitor it, or at least they used to, but with so many people abusing the channel, they may have stopped by now.

Good luck

there is no law regulating CB's while. A trucker is not going to pull over every time he talks on a radio. Are police going to pull over whenever they need to talk on the radio.
