I have a 2000 Ford Focus the gear gets stuck in park, wipers go off and on and A/C turns off while driving. While I was driving today my wipers started going on/off by itself. Also the A/C would turn off. My lights wont turn on unless the car gets out of Park. Does anyone else have these problems or am I the only one with a psycho car?

Did you name your car Christine? If not it's probably not posessed!
The headlights are supposed to turn off when you put the vehicle into Park. It sounds as though you have an electical short between the wipers and the A/C system. Take it to an Auto Electrician and have them sort it out...

I'm sure you do, but make sure to press on the brake pedal hard when you try to take it out of Park. There's a safety switch that works off the brake pedal actuation that releases the transmission shift lever only after you step on the brake pedal. Read your owner's manual for further details.

Take it to a dealer for evaluation. It's probably an intermittent electrical problem. Don't mess with things like this. Take it in as soon as possible. Electrical problems can have serious consequences.
