I would like to know the top speed for a 2002 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab SE, 2 WD 6 CYL.

It cuts out at slightly over 100mph. It has plenty of power left at 100 and could go much faster. The cheapest method of removing the limiter is to get a piggy back ECU

Sounds like you need to decide what you want since these cars coudln't be more different. Personally I have zero use for a pickup truck so I would buy the Mustang. Buy the car that meets your individual needs the most. The car that you want to be identified with. If that means a pickup then by all means go for the Nissan. If that means a sporty looking muscle car then go for it. But YOU need to decide which of these vehicles best suits your style your life and your needs.

Besides what are going to do if you loose control at 100 miles an hour when that patched tire blows out.

I think the computer shuts it down at about 100 mph..
