im looking for info on how to install the 2002 hid headlights of a nissan maxima onto a 2001 maxima. ive heard that there needs to be some wiring done and want to find out exactly how to do it. please sends sites that have instruction. that would be helpful, thanks..

There are no specific site you can access to perform the swap HID's have transformers for the low beams that need to be wired hot and ground and high beams tungsten bulbs hot and ground then parking lights too. Now are you sure the bumper and front grill and hood are the same? In other words will the new headlight assembly fit and not look like heck? And you realise those lights are the target of thiefs.

If the lightbulb is the same size this should plug right in without any modifications. The only thing you need to do is secure the ballast from each side to the chasis, I usually use exixting bolts on the car that are near the head light to avoid drilling any new holes, worst case scenario you will have to drill 4 holes to secure them. I sell aftermarket HID kits (NOT Nissan OEM) can get you the right one if interested. X
