I am in search of a turn signal alarm ( or something similar) for my father's car because he has trouble hearing the sound and he says its dim in the daytime. Any ideas?
Please no rude comments, he is not old he just does not hear very well after being in the Navy for many years.

most common flasher for turn signal and hazards. This will not do anything for the visibility, only hearing.

Just make sure that the dash lights are on full bright. If that won't do it, then maybe you can parallel a brighter light or replace the regular lights with ones that are brighter. good luck. I spent 4 years on an aircraft carrier and I know how loud it can be with all the jet engines 24 hours a day.

Available in the UK, because by law a seperate one for the trailer is required when towing.

It would easily fit behind the rear nearside light cluster, where there should be a point for attaching trailer electrics.

Check your local mechanic. They make a device that replaces the turn signal relay. I do not remember what it is called, but it makes the sound louder.

Not a mean answer but by law your dad must be able to hear to drive. Sirens, warnings, horns, etc. He needs to have his hearing checked and tested.
