I am looking into consolidating my bills.

I have 4 credit card bills with average 9% interest. There is about 10,000 dollars of debt.

Do you think it is a good idea to consolidate it into a home equity, where my house is collateral or leave it as CC debt where no house collateral for an average of 3% lower interest?

Both me and husband have steady jobs, don't plan on loosing them. But is we were to get hurt or something we would loose them and that would probably hurt our ability to pay.

I like the idea of only paying one bill, but not sure if it is the right thing to do....

I am 21 years old. I work full time. Not a home owner. I have carried at least 5 major credit cards and 5 store cards but only have 1 store card and 1 major card now with a balance of 2500. I pay 4 times the minimum every two weeks instead of monthly. I also have a car loan that is about a year old. I never make late payments. Never have. Never have been one to only pay the minimum either. How is my credit? Still limited?

So T-Mobile screwed me over with my contract and now I supposably owe them 400 bux. I tried to explain to them what happened and how the Sales Rep at the store screwed me. (I believe they screwed me but they are saying it was my fault) So I called up T-Mobile's customer service managers and it was like they didnt even give 2 craps or want to listen to me. So to make a long story short, it went into collections. So T-Mob said "We cant do anything with your account any more. You have to take it up with the collection agency" They dont know ish about what happened to me and how I got screwed by the Store.
Am I really screwed? Do I just not pay it and let it go on my credit?

In the Pittsburgh backpage.com an ad appeared for loans from $5,000 to $20,000 with the first 7 takers getting no interest loans. Needing a loan badly, I answered immediately and found out the person was from Nigeria. Although my application is only one page and he wants a copy of my driver's license, yahoo mail will not attach the download. I get the feeling my mail is being scrutinized but that isn't the issue. I'm wondering if anyone has heard about a scam like this.

It seems that building up credit is extremely important in the U.S., but as an international student this is very difficult. I am looking for a credit-building credit card, but nearly all student credit cards that I have come across require the applicant to be a U.S. resident, which I am not. I do, however, have a social security number.

My fiance is being sued by a company he owes money for. The total is: $3684,66 dollars. He called today and he offered to pay $50 bucks a month. They told him that they would not take it. They want him to pay either $552.00 down then $185.00 a month....OR $225.00 a month!!! And the interest rate goes up a dollar a day!!! It will not freez!! What the hell?? They will not take his offer. Only their offer stands. What are we going to do?? Im desperate to find answers. I don't want him to end up in jail......What soultions can we take that we can trust? I looked online for debt solutions...but what companys are true to their word? Why do we live in a society where you go to find help...all companys want to do is screw you over...Is this actualy legal what these people are trying to do to my fiance?? Not taking his $50 dollar a month offer and wanting him to pay 185 or 225 per month instead?? Will he go to jail if he doesnt pay up? How can he be forced to give up money that we don't have?
