So T-Mobile screwed me over with my contract and now I supposably owe them 400 bux. I tried to explain to them what happened and how the Sales Rep at the store screwed me. (I believe they screwed me but they are saying it was my fault) So I called up T-Mobile's customer service managers and it was like they didnt even give 2 craps or want to listen to me. So to make a long story short, it went into collections. So T-Mob said "We cant do anything with your account any more. You have to take it up with the collection agency" They dont know ish about what happened to me and how I got screwed by the Store.
Am I really screwed? Do I just not pay it and let it go on my credit?

I really can't answer your question properly without more information. What happened and how do you feel that they screwed you over?

In all honesty, I've been with T-mobile for over three years now and the only reason we are considering changing carriers is that my husband gets a discount for Sprint through his work. For the record, any time I've ever had a problem with any of my phones, T-mobile has stepped up and fixed the problem immediately.

Good luck!

Okay, here's the thing to do:

yes, they may have screwed you, but unforunately tehre's not much to do outside take them to court, which costs money if you lose. Instead, pay the collection off, then launch an "inquiry" with the details by writing to the collection agency AND the credit bureaus. Try to get the collection deleted from your credit report.

Your other option, is when you arrange to pay the collection agency, tell themt hat you'd like to pay them off on the condition that they remove it from your report-- AND GET THIS IN WRITING. You have the leverage-- becuase they want your money-- so get them to agree to it and then pay the money and follow up with your report to see that they do it.

Same thing happened to me!
I wrote them a letter to disconnect my service and they did not do it! They even admitted to having the letter and that it should have been done on the date I designated because I gave them over a months notice. They sent it to collections and it's on my credit report - which sux when trying to get any loans. It is there fault! But I don't know how to fix it....I refuse to pay it!
