I want her on my plan as soon as possible for a possible minor emergency surgery. I want to talk about our current situation but I'm afraid it can bite me in the butt later. Should I just put her on without mentioning her condition and wait for the policy to kick in?

thanks in advance

I want as MUCH feedback as possible. There are holes from where information could give away my name or compromise the possibility of employment.

Things to know:

1) It's a nonprofit job for the American Stroke Association.
2) I am a new grad.
3) I do have a completed cover letter, meaning there is more to it than what is included here. I know how to format, open, and close a letter. What is more important to me is to make this cover letter the best it can be.

I started new job involving 12 hour shifts. They told me they have 4 15min breaks. I asked if i could have 30min lunch so that i can go home and they say i have to ask managers permission. They dont pay for breaks so surely you can do what you want with your break time. They say for health and safety if you stay in building and theres an emergency they can call on you and have your time made up later in the day. So surely they should be pay for being on demand. Im a carer in a home. What you think?

I've only had a few babysitting, elderly people catering, and ticket master gigs back in junior high and first years of high school that did not last more than a month each, so I cannot put that on my resume. My career couselor representative of Everest college is having a hard time finding a job for me that suits my degree it seems. It's been months that she's had my resume. Either there are jobs that require just a high school diploma with some work experience of 1 plus years or a bachelor's and up with work experience and only a few match but they're either taken or too far off. I am in the middle (with associate's) with no work experience and just volunteer experience. Should I just start back at high school level jobs with no work experience even after the major cost of the college courses? Anyone know what will work?

I love to set at a computer all day. I could search, scrounge and surf all day long. What got me interested in this career, is one day I recieved a flyer. That flyer seemed to good to be true. They Said they'd be at a local k-mart with It "great" sewing machines. It was too good to be true, and I exposed them on the net. I got a big high off of this. Knowing I caught someone in the act, and before they could commit the crime. It was awesome! Now I'm considering this line of work. I'm very "snoopy", have been since I was little. I have a good "gut", I love puzzles and math. I'm also verry paranoid with a little OCD. I like a job where you can work with your hands, and learn with your hands. If I have to read a book to get something it's harder for me to grasp. I have a little computer exp. I'm only 20, and still in college, so I don't want to waste time here in college on a career I'm gonna hate. I would like something with investigation. What do you guys think?

The company i work for treats us like crap, they dont ackowledge good behavior, they seem to reward those who they like thier attatudes, rather than the actual work they do...Seems like everyday is "Backwards day" at my workplace, the company doesnt give good service to customers and they dont care...they wont raise the payscale, and this attracts Scuzy people to the company when they hire, and they have hired and trained theives and drug addicts. They dont promote from within either, the last supervisor was hired off the street. I think i need to find another job!
