What skills or education is needed for a job with the FBI, or something similar with the U.S. Government? Do they train you, or do you need training beforehand?

Hi, I'm wondering if there is any careers relating to the history of the second world war.
This seems to be the only thing that keeps me interested in life. I passes my history lessons in school with flying colours while failing a lot of other subjects cause I'd read WWII books rather than study.
ANY help would be so helpful.
Thank you all and kind regards.

I was 18 at the time and the girl was 13. They charged me with child molestation although the girl was sexually mature and could have passed for 15. Before this thing happened, I was getting my life together and was accepted into the nursing program. But due to the circumstances, I declined the acceptance into the nursing program. I know that nursing is my passion and want to know if I'll ever be able to return to this field.
I know that sex crimes are quite political at the moment. I do have quite a bit of knowledge of whether or not I could get a nursing degree and get a job, but I don't have anything solid. My feeling is that I can't do it at this time, yet, but I want to remain hopeful.

Hello, I was recently hired for a job working at tasco answering service part time. It has benifits which I am really in need of, but i've never worked this type of job before. I was just wondering if anyone else has any opinion on them and also and advice. I mean i'd rather sit for 5-7 hours a day than standing doing nothing for them hours. but i'm afraid i'll get bored sitting in front of a computer all day, but then again they are hiring me and im a highschool drop out and this is a great job. Thanks

My husband's dad recently had a second heart attack and is back in the hospital once again. My husband and I both work at the same place and have the same position. We called in and stayed home from work today in order to visit his dad in the hospital. My husband has already told me he plans on staying home tomorrow, too. The doctors are planning an open-heart surgery for his dad ASAP. I am a hard worker and I have never missed work unless I was sick enough that I needed to see a doctor or there was some sort of emergency, like this one. I know this is an emergency situation, and my employer probably understands, but I can't help but feel like we're doing something wrong by not going to work. Are we?

I have worked in office settings but dont like accouting. I have done sales but most sales have long hours. I tried computer classes sales, was doing ok but not well enough to keep the job. I would love to travel, I love people, and It seems as if all companies want young work force. I prefer small companies or working with people but not retail ( because of the hours) smaller companies and multi-task would keep it interesting, I have an associates degree in business. Least amount needed to make is $50,000/year. Any suggestions will be helpful

Please! Only serious answers! I have been noticing over the past few days that I am an extremely good liar and can manipulate people to do just about anything. What is a good career field to go into if you can lie and manipulate well? Also a starting salary would be nice. Thank you.

i'm trying to decide whether to go to school for cosmetology or practical nursing and after thinking about it it mostly boils down to money. i am interested in both but after 6 yrs of being a nurses aide i am a little burned out. and with the high stress and all the malpractice lawyers, i wouldnt look back if i knew i could make a comparable amount cutting hair. the only thing is i'd need to make enough to comfortably support my family.if it means anything, i live in the jacksonville, fl area.

I have a background in education which includes teaching and administration. I lost my job almost 4 years ago and have not been able to get back into an education position since then. All I seem to be qualified for is sales.
I have managed to get a part time job teaching at the college level, but all full time jobs seem to be closed doors.
I am open to suggestions!

I started a new job in January as a phlebotomist. I have to get up around 4:15 in the morning every day to get to my shift on time and then I'm a full time student. I feel exhausted and would like more time to study for nursing school. I've worked there almost 2 months and am thinking about quitting in May because of the load of classes I'm taking over the summer. What do you think? Will that look bad?

I work in the meat department at Walmart. I have worked there for almost 2 months and I absolutely hate it. I avoid going to work whenever I can by scheduling my son's doctor's appointments during work hours or my own. I have called off twice. I have gotten two write ups because someone lied about me stealing something and I was written up for 5 minutes of overtime. My husband has a job and keeps insurance for our family. He makes good money but half of it is gone in child support. I have a 6 month old baby at home. I cry constantly at work because I miss him. I'm afraid that if I quit my job people will be dissapointed in me because we might have to go back on welfare to continue medical coverage of our son if I quit. I want to go back to a previous job and while the employer has offered me my job back, I'm afraid I will make the second assistant manager, my brother, mad by going back. What should I do?

Ok, I accepted a new job making twice my current wages, plus I'll have (company paid) medical/dental/vision insurance. I told my new boss (who is actually friends with my old boss) that I needed 2 weeks notice for my current employer, and he was fine with that. Well, I got home from work tonight to a message on my voicemail that he'd like for me to start training next week. My new boss just found out at 5 this evening that they're going to be having some special 3 day training, and he thinks it'd be perfect for me. Well, I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place, because my current bosses are friends of my family, and have been for about 10 years, and I'd really like to stick out the 2 weeks, even though I'm really excited about this new job and would have no qualms about starting tomorrow. The only thing I've come up with is to request those 3 days off so that I can do training at the new job, and finish off my 2 weeks at the old job.
