Working at a call center information?

Hello, I was recently hired for a job working at tasco answering service part time. It has benifits which I am really in need of, but i've never worked this type of job before. I was just wondering if anyone else has any opinion on them and also and advice. I mean i'd rather sit for 5-7 hours a day than standing doing nothing for them hours. but i'm afraid i'll get bored sitting in front of a computer all day, but then again they are hiring me and im a highschool drop out and this is a great job. You will have to view call center work as fun. As you wind up with people cussing at you and all sorts of stuff. I recently hired a guy that loved it when customers unloaded on him, because he could win them over and make them happy in the end. If you approach your work like that you will be successful. I can't imagine it being boring, but that's all in the eye of the beholder.
