I am working at a company 3 days a week. Though i used to have a contract with the company i do not anymore, instead i am working as and when they need me...which is usually 3 days a week. The company pay my tax so i am not offically freelance....am i entitled to any holiday pay?

I have been recently diagnosed with significant thoracic outlet syndrome. It has put me out of work at the moment. I am in so much pain it's horrible, I started having trouble last April while at work but no one could diagnose me with anything. January I was in a great deal of pain and couldn't sit at my desk, type or do anything. I went through all the tests and the neurologist sadi I'm in bad shape. I was never injured in an accident and I sit at work in a terrible work environment. NO ERGONOMICS AT ALL! I asked for them and I was told "they don't use those here" I went and bought myself a mouse and keyboard pad but that didn't do anything. My chair is old and falls down when I sit on it..no arm rests. Monitor is ancient, tiny and too low. No paper holder..I had everything on my desk and looking down when typing (I do a lot of data entry) which is what caused this. I'm right handed and this is on my right side. How do I go back to work in those conditions? HELP!

My husband works for a small company..at one time along the way a fellow and GOOD friend was fired and My husband was the union president, He DROPPED everything and went too the aid of this Friend, This guys wife thought my husband could get his JOB back for him..but my husbands hands were tied! I don't really understand what all went on, But for YEARS now this wife is STILL complaining saying that My HUSBAND did nothing too help him. We are ALL friends and still are, it's Just that she can NOT let this go. The guy picked up a STATE JOB..so now is making more money then what he did when he did work with my husband.
Now it meantime I TOLD her something that i KNOW NOW I shouldn't of...about something my husband did at work...I SWEAR she made a phone call too his work as a PAY back for not getting her husbands job back....My husband can be headed for FIRE now, he may lose his job!! How can I ask or question her about all this? PLEASE ASAP! HELP!

My B.A. in English isnt medical-related. But I have heard that it does not matter what your B.A. is in, you get your Masters in physical therapy. Is this true? How about a PT assistant? Seperate training for people w/an undergraduate degree as well? Length of time to get certified for that? Job market should be wide open and plentiful w/baby boomers becoming senior citizens right?

It's comming down to the wire and I really need to find a new job, I had one interview yesterday and have one on Wed. I will ahve one later this week sometime I think, but it's yet to be scheduled. My fiancee and I are hopefully moving into a condo...(just waiting on the approval)....and I am starting to balk because I am not in a good place right now. I have only 16 hours a week with no hope for more....please encouragement and prayers for a new job!

I started a job in January & am now leaving at the end of April but i would like to know if I am entitled to annual leave as I was told i would get 20 days per annum in my interview.

IF YOUR BOSS BELITTLES YOU. TUTS AT YOU AND TALKS TO YOU LIKE YOU ARE A CHILD THEN GET AGITATED AND SNAPS WHEN YOU MAKE A SMALL MISTAKE LIKE SPILL SOME MILK OR SEPARATE THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF A BREAD ROLL WHEN APPARENTLY YOU SHOULDN'T.

Hi, I have a job interview on Thursday at a company where I previoulsy applied for a different role but didn't get it as they thought I was over qualified and they suggested that I apply for the role I am going for an interview on Thursday for.

How do I stand out, as getting this job would solve my money problems once and for all as it pays really well. It is HR related. Do I demonstrate my knowledge of HR more or talk more about my existing job. What is the best approach? I am going into this interview already having suffered three job rejections within the space of three months.
