My husband works for a small company..at one time along the way a fellow and GOOD friend was fired and My husband was the union president, He DROPPED everything and went too the aid of this Friend, This guys wife thought my husband could get his JOB back for him..but my husbands hands were tied! I don't really understand what all went on, But for YEARS now this wife is STILL complaining saying that My HUSBAND did nothing too help him. We are ALL friends and still are, it's Just that she can NOT let this go. The guy picked up a STATE JOB..so now is making more money then what he did when he did work with my husband.
Now it meantime I TOLD her something that i KNOW NOW I shouldn't of...about something my husband did at work...I SWEAR she made a phone call too his work as a PAY back for not getting her husbands job back....My husband can be headed for FIRE now, he may lose his job!! How can I ask or question her about all this? PLEASE ASAP! HELP!

I wouldnt worry too much. If its a Union job and this actually happened years ago, they cant do much about it. With the Union, they typically hae only a few days to take action on a situation. This time is long gone. Besides, he could always claim she is lying and has no proof otherwise.

Its too late and the damage is done. You should have let it go as well. You knew what she was like and you went ahead & told her something you shouldn't have. You can't prove she called & she will never tell. If what you husband did was bad enough to get him fired then he will. But, if he is good at his job and well respected then he may just get a slap on the wrist.

You can't & shouldn't do anything. This involves your husband's place of employment and you have no jurisdiction there.
