Average is $99k across US in USD, but will be higher depending on your range of skills (more than one module, SD and MM maybe) and how many years experience you've had.

You can narrow it down by state/city too. Some places pay more.

As for contract rates, I'm not sure, but I'd bet pretty high as well, because SAP is really hot right now.

Most US companies DO pay for relocation, but without a company offer of employment, and following that, a visa extended to you, you will not be able to get a job in the States.

A lot of Canadians can't even get a job in the States as SAP consultants, because a lot of companies are looking for employees who already HAVE the visa to work in the States, without them having to sponsor you. That's the Catch-22 to these jobs - there are a ton of them, but damned if you do and damned if you don't have a visa/job.

Try applying to large IT consultancy firms like IBM, Accenture, Deloitte etc. And get in that way.
