What are some jobs that you can do at age 15, and how do i advertise my services? I love animals; dogs, horses, cats, etc. I am not really into kids so i dont want to babysit too much... maybe ill try it a few times though. Is it possible to get a job at some kind of animal shelter or humane society at 15, or do you have to be 18 or older? Also i am assuming that they just have volunteers and don't pay money... is this true?

I applied at a certain job about a year ago and when i got called back for the interview i was unable to go [lack of a ride] but I re-applied then never got called back.

So when i saw that they were hiring for Seasonal Positions [xmas] i applied AGIAN. This time though, they sent me a post card saying:

"Hello, Thanks for taking the time to apply with us. While we're unable to offer you a position at this time, we do appreciate your interest."

Do they really mean that they can't hire me because there are no positions or is it more of a "please stop applying here, we're not going to hire you" type of thing???

The job is realllly awesome and the guy in charge of hiring really seemed nice, but it may have just been a fasle pretense. Should I just wait until the put up signs that they're hiring or do they really NOT want me and don't know how to tell me straight foward???

The job is actually in a retail industry and I was thinking of producing a resume with a boarder and graphics printout to show them my creative skills. Though, i'm not sure if it's neccessary or does not change the way the interviewer thinks of me. What do you think?

hi
before some days my manager told me that i'm not adding value maybe bacause he was very mad, so i took my time thinking and thinking and decide to resign from my job because i did my best and all employees in the organization know that but he doesn't appreciate espicially after the resigning of his best employee in the company. i'm doing my best but i'm really confused i'm always trying to be different but. i'm barely trying to make him happy through my job. sometimes i think that i'm really not adding value, i'm a student in the Open Uneversity and that might affect my work so do you think that i should got to some one who really helps me in adding value??? or waht shall i do specifically.

I am wondering what the real deal is with those kids selling magazines to win a trip. They need 10,000 points to win a trip and "supposedly" they aren't selling the magazines, they are selling their personalities. Is it legit? What's the real deal?

So the basic point of a cover letter is to explain the skills and experience you have in order to get a job (in this case an internship), right? So what do you do if you have no relevant experience? Just provide a reason why you don't and hope for the best? Or should I not even bother?

I find local television news anchor people to be soulless. They can talk about a busfull of kids plummeting off a cliff one minute, and joke with the weatherman about his ugly tie the next. Downright diabolical.

My ultimate goal is to become a real investor, however, I have no experience in real estate, outside of reading a few books on real estate investing. I was thinking about getting my real estate license and start off as a realtor to get my feet wet, but upon reading some different articles on the net, there's ALOT of competition and it's take about a year to actually get up on your feet. Do real estate agents work on pure commission or do they have a salary? So, what do you suggest I do to get experience without risking being broke for a year?
