In the fast paced city in the USA, sigle mom, immigrant, how can I make it, when I have to take care of my kids, be with my kids, help with homework and sports, and try to make a living and add credit card debt, home mortgage and other oblgations, etc, etc?

The good news is - it is about making it what you want it to be about. A good life is not a life without problems. It is a life that you have filled with people you love, relationships the best you can make them, and being who you want to be inside. Your immigrant status, debt, and obligations are just a part of it and show that you are up for taking risks - a good thing, I say. Just keep on doing what you know to do and love your family.

Now your life is about responsibility and will be so until your kids are grown and hopefully well educated. Stress grades and education so they can be independent in their future. If you must drop something forget the sports. Sports helps only a very few highly select youth with their future.
Hopefully your future will leave time for fun and friends. You will probably need a church when you are older. Then you can consider the meaning of life. Forget democracy for home. Keep your children well controlled and they will bless you when they are older. Don't worry that they may fuss at you for now.

Life is tough all over, where you live has alot to say about what level of stress your under. But it also has alot to say about the quality of your life what religion (if any) you follow and your expected life span. There are certain decisions you make along the way (consciously or subconsciously) that will impact you for the rest of your life. Knowing which decisions these are helps alot.

when you have kids you always have to make time for them no matter how tired you are. remeber they will be gone before you know it.
