keep trying. call them back if they dont call after a few days to see if they even looked at your application yet. (some places take a while depending on what sort of business it is) make sure you look nice even if you are just going and dropping off the application, it makes a better impression. dont write down a set requirement for what you want to get paid if they ask, always write negotiable, because you look bad if you just flat out demand something for a wage if you dont have experience. SMILE when you hand them the aplication. take anything you can get for now, even if it just to hold you over till something better comes along. make sure they know you are always willing to learn. make sure they are well well WELL aware of what experience you do have. my dad used to make me fill out five applications a day, then the next day, id have to go drop them off and fill out five more, and repeat that every day till i got a job. i hated him for it then, but it was definatly better than sitting around not having money. so dont get mad if they dont call you back, you call them back. it shows initiative. i had a number of places say that they wouldnt have called me in for an interview if i hadnt showed some initiative and called them. ive been working at one of the places that told me that for a year and a half now, so dont be afraid. and BEST of luck!

Alot of telemarketer jobs will hire you whether or not you have a high school diploma. You may also want to go ahead and get your GED. You may have to start off as a parttime employee but at least you'll get some experience. Also, retail will hire anyone at the age of 16. Good Luck!

If you have a bit of time - even if you don't, try volunteering - then at least you have some experience to post on your resume and if you get in w/ a non-profit or a school a position may become available.

LABOR READY....or other temp agencies...
kelley, interim, manpower, etc., Alum. can collecting, metal recycling, babysitting, etc. these are all jobs and people seem to live on them. If you want a cushy office job then go to night school and get the GED. Try temp agencies first.

This might sound stupid. But if you're cute, you should go in and talk directly to the manager of wherever it is you are applying.
You vastly increase your chances of getting hired if you talk directly to the person in charge of hiring.
