For women parents who cannot spare the time for conventional work?

If their benefits are stopped.

Or are benefits too low anyway and it will not make any difference?

Not England in Victorian times. This is Tony Blair's starve the shirkers policy.

Some people are devious enough to get on the mental health trip and cop invalidity benefit. This is more than jobseekers allowance.

Tony is doing exactly the same to single mums as he has done to students. He took away the 'student grant' system (which, Scotland now has) and instead is giving the money to A level students and younger, who have no bills to pay and no rent to worry about, in other words, it goes straight down their gullet! Now, he is forcing single parents to go back to work (whether they are able or not), and is giving their benefits to the hoards of asylum seekers entering the country without skills, or even basic linguistic skills to get work and become a valued member of society.

The only reason a single mum's benefits would be stopped would be if they were found to be working on the sly. I am a single mum on benefits and I have no problems coping financially.

i think they should be cracking down on those who make repeated and continuous claims for jobseekers allowance and seem to have no intention of actually working.
parents can end up on their own for a number of reasons, and when you're trying to get over a relationship breakdown or death of spouse, and adjusting to your new circumstances etc the last thing they need is more pressure on them!

Frankly, if I have been president, i might spend maximum of my time removing courses, somewhat than starting to be them. In my adventure, the government that keeps out of my existence is the terrific one i will desire for. i'm prepared on #a million, as an occasion, considering that gets the government out of one extra element of my existence. besides the undeniable fact that, i'm not confident that they had do to any extent further perfect combating junk meals than they do combating marijuana use. in simple terms enable this is...depart people to stay their own lives. I do think of you have some exciting suggestions, yet till now you actual get elected, i'm hoping you will artwork on a number of the significant factors. as an occasion, i don't think of you have thought in the process the fee tags on a number of those ventures. in case you "completely fund" all social courses, there's no way you will pay for them with out going vastly into debt. i think of there is often a conflict between your choose to not be a international police, and your choose to make conflict on dictators. yet in essence, i think of your heart is interior the impressive place. in simple terms comprehend that as quickly as you start up doing those products for genuine, it gets lots messier. not something works incredibly completely the way you will like. terrific of success to you.

I don't think Blair is forcing them to make a start in earning a living instead of living off the rest of us. The method he is advocating is a typical socialist approach, be soft with them we want their votes.

Many of them are probably already earning a bob or two by picking up blokes whilst their kids are in school.

The fairest approach on everyone is to give them six months notice of removal of their existing handout, after which they would be put on to job seekers allowance.

This would give them up to a year to get into work which is plenty of time if they were serious about it or as you indicate move into a caring profession such as prostitution.

Prostitution, no. But you might start to notice a decline in the attractiveness of the strippers in your local nudie bar.
