You're illegal. Hooters can not hire anyone but adults to do that job. Tell them your real age now, or watch them lose their license for employing a minor.

I reiterate--by law a person who is underage, CAN NOT BE in the same room as alcoholic beverages.

This is a direct excerpt from the Hooters site...You must be at least 18 or 21 for the Hooters Girl position depending on local alcohol service laws.

Hey, I work at hooters as a waitress, and the best tip I can give you is to not double seat their section, if the girls are busy help bus the tables, and make sure you tell them if you seat them. They probably told you all this in training, but make sure you when you go on a wait to get the person's FIRST name and know who they are (make a note of what they look like, ect.) they'll be impressed and usually give you a few dollars. At least they do at our store. But good luck with it. It's not a hard job at all.

oh, to the dumbass up there who said its illegal obviously doesnt know what a HOSTESS is. you don't serve alcohol. you seat people. and its not a degrading job. trust me once you get old enough and wait tables you'll be making double what other people you're age make. So stick with it.

Talk to the servers and get to know them. It's best to know which ones are can handle the most tables and what their needs are. Also, be nice to customers, but don't let them walk all over you. Try to make sure they sit where you put them. Otherwise, it can mess up the rotation (making sure everyone gets a fair number of tables).
Good luck, I'm sure you'll be a great hostess!

Go topless or stay in school and get a real job. That way you can be the bestest hostess ever in your own home, that you own, when people come to visit you.
