I would like to have the opportunity to have my identity stolen, be ripped off of a lot of money and find myself getting email from every purveyor of smut, spam and viagra ads known to mankind.

Can you help me? By the way since I'm such an idiot I won't be interested in using any of the following:

Job Search Engines

They're advertising for an E-Commerce Manager but I am not altogether sure what it is about. Here is the main site: http://www.addisonfinance.com/index.html And here is the job posting: http://www.addisonfinance.com/career/04406.html

My question is two-fold. Is this a legitimate company? And, could someone give me a better idea what that job is really doing. I just can't wrap my mind around it with the description given. Thanks!

I'm a 19-year-old girl who's looking for a change in employment. For the past 4 years I've been a lifeguard, which is great for getting a tan, but can only keep you happy for so long. I am thinking that I'd like to try bartending down the Jersey shore (about an hour away from where I live) but I am uncertain as to how to go about it. Should I go to one of those 1-2 week bartending schools or are they kind of phony? And if they are phony, what would I need to do to make myself hireable? Also, what are the best bars to work at down the shore in the Seaside/Lavalette/Point Pleasant area (specifically bars that a young, single, 19-year-old girl would enjoy working at)?

Every once in a while I'll hear about a job installing a satellite dishes, putting tags on gloves, or cleaning pieces of metal. The pay ranges from $10 to $15 an hour.

What other jobs out there do you know of that pay well, do not demand schooling, and are just unknown to the general public?

Ok... I was recently laid off... still looking for a new job, i need to get medical coverage soon for me and the kids... place that laid me off calls and asks me to come back and work for them on a contract/temp basis. Now... I want to remain on good terms with them, they are a reference - i was with them for almost 5 years and all... but I need to focus on finding a new job... doing this temp work will surely slow down my progress in doing so. My husband says I should tell them to "go to you-know-where" - but I don't know... what do you think?

I have an all day interview that popped up at the last minute and I need to call out of work. I'm not quite sure how to call out in this instance. I don't want to risk getting fired for whatever reason, even though I basically never take sick days. What have you guys done in the past when this kind of situation arises? Are they even legally allowed to ask you for a doctor's note for the one day? Or to ask what was wrong? Would saying I have a family emergency be a cleaner way of doing it?

I worked for this company for 8 months and going to grad school. They fired me 3 months before I graduated. I ommited this job from my resume to make it look like I have been just studying full time. Will a serious compamy that does a detailed background check find out that I worked there even if the job is not listed on my resume? (the job matches my degree).
