I worked for this company for 8 months and going to grad school. They fired me 3 months before I graduated. I ommited this job from my resume to make it look like I have been just studying full time. Will a serious compamy that does a detailed background check find out that I worked there even if the job is not listed on my resume? (the job matches my degree).

Actually, yes. They can. They might not, but they can. They could call your school. They could do a thorough background check. They could call the IRS! The IRS has all your work records!

You should NEVER lie on your resume. People get fired all the time. It is not THAT big a deal. Things don't always work out. Sometimes it is not your fault. Other times you may have made a mistake, but people do. Everyone does. The important thing is to show that you learned from the experience. Unless you stole something from the company, you can pretty much turn anything into a positive. As it stands, one slip of the tongue and you're busted. Then you'll be fired again for lying. Good luck!

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNH5v

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

Legally I am told an employer cannot say you were fired or quit they can only confirm that you worked there from date-to-date...and yes I think they could find out that you did work there... my advice is to use the job and just say you left beacause you needed more time for your studies
