My own wedding (august). and all the stuff that goes along with that. showers and bachlorette parties!

How much time do you really need off for that stuff. Graduation?? That's an afternoon. Probably on a weekend anyways. Being a maid of honor?? You shouldn't need an entire day off for that. The rehearsals should be in the evening and who holds a wedding during a weekday? You can plan your own wedding in the evenings and on weekends as well. Start now, you've got 6 months! If you have any vacation time then use it up as needed. I don't think any of these is really worth losing a job over.

What kind of job do you have? Is it a professional job or your I am getting myself through college job?? I quit a job while in school when I was denied spring break...I wanted to go see my Grandmother with my parents really!! At that time I hardly ever saw my family as I was away at college so I did quit that job and saw my grandmother...it was one of our last visits.
I did find that when I got married I needed extra time off as well just to get it all done...this was still before my career job...I could always find someone to cover shifts back then. Maybe that is an option?
You will have to decide what is more important...the job or some of the activities or try to find a way to work all in.

Good luck with it all.

Grow up!
You have a job, and therefore a responsibility to be there.
If all your other events are more important than work, then quit your job and just party.
You don't need time off work for the graduation or being a maid of honor - they are weekend events.
You obviously are not taking work seriously.

Ummm I had a year like that recently, and the only time i took off from work was the week of my wedding/honeymoon. Unless you have an evening job that is over the weekends, there really is no reason to be taking time off for every single one of those events.

Trust me, everyone has stuff going on and could use more time off.

You accepted a job, if you are unwilling to do it then you need to quit. If parties are more important then a paycheck then party it up!

I hope that man of your makes good money, with your attitude he is going to need it.

Well he is right. We all have lives but you have an obligation to your job. If your live is getting in the way..quit. There are other people who will do your job and be there and your boss knows it
