My question is two-fold. Is this a legitimate company? And, could someone give me a better idea what that job is really doing. I just can't wrap my mind around it with the description given. Thanks!

You should be VERY suspicious. Do more research and call them to ask more questions. Here are a few things that you need to clarify:
- If they have been in business since 2002 as the web site claims, why do you find nothing on them when you do a google search.
- The domain name addisonfinance.com was just created 1 month ago. It expires in two years. Most companies that are financially stable and expecting to be around for a while will register for 10 years or more.
- The domain name addisonfinance.com is registered to an address in Wisconsin while the address on the web site is in New York.
- The phone number in the domain registry is the phone number of a company called "Lighting Design by Wettstein's" in La Crosse, WI. You may want to call them up and see if they know anything about Addison Financial Solutions.

A very professionally done website but it worries me that for a company with copyrighted pages and content there is nothing when you search on them.
It might be legitimate but I think it is a good idea to be suspicious.
There must be something triggering your radar that it is fake because it looks pretty good.
