Do you have a Master's Degree or higher? Most people don't make $70k right out college, especially with so many people with MBAs around. If you figure out the answer to this question, let me know!

Amylin Pharmaceuticals is the only place that I know of because someone in my family works there. It has been rated as one of the best places to work in San Diego. She was lucky because she got in when it was very small, now it is getting HUGE! She makes at least 100k+/yr, but also has a Masters in some sort of biology and 30+ years work experience. Most of the people she works with all have PhD's, but that is probably just the department she is in.

Oh, and good luck making 70-80k just after graduating from college. You will be lucky to get a 40k job to start out with, that is, if you can even find a job. Jobs suck : (

Let's see.....what's the going rate for a kid fresh out of college with no skills, no experience, and no game plan, who can't spell between? Yes spelling counts, always, in real life.

Your only value to a corporation lies in what you Might develop into if they spend lots of their money, time and effort to educate and train you in how to function in the real world. The real value of the degree is Only that it shows that you had the ability to stick to the program and get through it, hopefully with decent grades. Do NOT operate under the delusion that you have gained some great store of knowledge that will change the world or be a great blessing and boon to the lucky company who has been gifted with your presence.

It is time to start your real education. Learn first, the money will come along later--in Due time.
