....do I resend my stuff saying "Here is an updated version of my stuff" or what? This is odd because I am a stickler for spelling and grammar.

I have sent my stuff out to some great places that are hiring and I REALLY WANT THE JOBS I APPLIED TO!

my mom has been doing this new job for about a month now..and since then, her boss has been completely rude and mean to her. this woman is like..a prison guard. never has she given so much as a smile to my mom or even said good morning. she constantly insults her on how she does her job (she's new, so she makes little mistakes like accidently losing an email, which was sent to her again on request, no problem) and just yells her head off. other than that, the woman is like..silently cursing at her. my mom comes home upset and tired and now has to see a doctor for anti-depressants. our whole family is going insane cause its a lot for them to take on too.. problem is, though she's quickly going insane, if she quits or gets fired (which is likely), we'll be..basically.. screwed. no money= no apartment (not that we live in versailles as it is.) whoever can give some advice on what to do.. whether its something different that my mom should do or say..anything. if you have any advice-please.

I am incredibly lazy. All I like to do is sit on the internet and look at whatever interests me and sometimes chime in with my personal opinions. I'm sick of working. I have hated evey job I've ever had. Are there any schemes out there where I can make money sitting at home doing next to nothing? I'm not talented, inteligent, good looking, or nice. I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or do any work. Your input is appreciated.

employers want my social security number after an interview to check my references, including credit. What I am concerned about is that some employers that didn't hire me now have my ssn#. Should I be concerned?

Also, how much can one's credit effect or influence a potential employer's hiring decision?

I was a travel agent for about 15 years, been a stay-a-home mom for about 2 years. My daughter started school this year, and I'm thinking about going back to work. I'm looking for a new field and wondered what other types of work might be a good match for me.

At my company, at least in my department, they never fire anyone, even when they should. Rumor has it that the last time someone was fired, he had spent two weeks doing absolutely nothing before he got fired.

According to my coworkers this is because the company doesn't want to pay unemployment. However, my boyfriend said that unemployment is only for people who were laid off, and not for people who were fired with cause. So what should I believe?

I'm afraid they won't consider me because they will think that I am overqualified.

An HR recruiter for another company contacted me. Frankly it would take a large offer - 20% increase and a year employment contract - plus all my other perks come-with - before I'd even consider an offer. I don't want to mess around with lengthy and fatiguing interviews if they know they can't meet my requirements. I'm just wondering if there's some other aspect to being courted that I might not be considering. Some people like interviewing - I don't. I find it stressful and fatiguing - even when the job is a take-it-or-leave-it. Thoughts? Thanks.

Is it torture handling all that lovely cash when you have large bills to pay and your boss doesn't appreciate you? As that special constable advert on t.v. goes..."I couldn't do it!" Could you get loads of cash out if you wanted?( I wont tell anyone!)

I just finished college last month, and Enterprise invited me to be a management trainee. I hear of a Lot of people going there after college. Does anyone know anyone who may have worked there? What was their experience? What is life like in that career? can you really move up like they say you can? I just need some information before I decide to move with them. Thanks for your help!
