I started a new career at 50 and had absolutely no difficulty at all. Many people have multiple careers in their lifetime. Whatever you want, go for it.

Dear heavens, please do! In an age where everyone wants instant fame and fortune for little or no work (preferably at home), someone in her fifties would be more than welcome.
