I just finished college last month, and Enterprise invited me to be a management trainee. I hear of a Lot of people going there after college. Does anyone know anyone who may have worked there? What was their experience? What is life like in that career? can you really move up like they say you can? I just need some information before I decide to move with them. Thanks for your help!

My best friend's son was recruited by Enterprise right out of college. It wasn't bad for a first job, and he gained a lot of experience. It was a perfect fit for him because he's a very dynamic young man who thrives on challenges.

The first year or two went well; he was meeting his sales quotas and beyond and the perks were great. But he had a couple of instances where the "Old Boys Club" reared it's ugly head. Suddenly there was one standard for him and one for everyone else. He stuck with them for four years and recently took a position with another company. He was very enthusiastic initially, but after seeing others promoted over him, it was very frustrating. They kept dangling the promotion carrot in front of him. It was actually one of his mentors at Enterprise that recruited him for is new job.

If you choose to go with them, go with the idea that you'll be trained well, suck up knowledge and expect to move on to something bigger and better.
