I was very pissed to work for a manufacturer as I was accused for insulting one employee. She used "SOX" crap to pin me down, then went to say "I just covered you" for errors. I did not make any errors. Such variations were from the system when others entered. Then I became very defensive, said "If you were not in the hospital that time, you would have caught the errors". I was totally in shock for what I did wrong. I do not need any one to cover me, I am here to do the job the best I can. Not sure if this is a plot. Then she and other lady reported to my boss and my boss talked to me about this. I tried to tell my boss that the "cover" trigerred my response. He still thinks that I owe her some applogy. Please advise

k...where should I start? I have been in this job for a year now. I quited lately because I don't wanna work the schedule any more. The other agency offered me a similar job with better pay and better conditions. But my current manager keeps trying to offer me something that fits my schedule too. I took quite some training with the company and my manager is trying to make me feel guilty of not taking the offer. He is to have a meeting with me in two days. Then I have the interview with the other job the day after. I want to be able to compare before I make a decision. What should I say to him? should I tell him about the other job offer?

During the interview process, I was told that only three candidates would make it past the phone interviews, into a face to face interview. I was one of those 3, and had the interview last week. I wrote a thank you letter and a follow up email about their decision process. I received a phone call from the corporate HR rejecting me, and then she told that I should expect a letter next week? Why would she call to reject me, just to tell me that they are going to reject me again a few days later by mail?

Aditionally, she did mention that they would like to talk to me again in December. During the interview process I was told that they had one position now, and by January, would be expanding the department personel

When you are e-mailing or faxing your resume to a prospective employer, is it neccessary to put your address on the resume?
What about in case of online resume submitted at some job search sites?
Of course, phone # would be needed, but not sure about the need to put down my address.

Well, I had posted a few days ago that I was having my first interview, and that it was at Chick-Fil-A. Well the guy seemed like he liked me at etc.

He told me something about he would contact and let me know if I had got the job, since he had to talk to the franchise owner. Well, he interviewed me actually only this Thursday. Well I swore that he told me he would contact before the weekend, but I could have been wrong.

However, I was curious if like I should follow up and thank them for the interview or what, you know to get my name back in their mind... I, well I don't know... what do you think. I just would have thought they would have contacted me Today, because of the fact they are closed Sunday, and its a mall franchise so Saturday's their busy day

So I don't what do you think. When should I contact them, or should I at all?

I have a really great professional relationship with one of my supervisors at work. My problem is, whenever we have any type of after-work gathering, this supervisor does not talk to me, but other coworkers notice him staring at me. I don't understand why he is unable to have a friendly conversation with me - would it be completely unprofessional for me to ask him why? (If not, how could I ask him?) I've worked with him for almost 2 years now, and according to other co-workers, he's always raving about what a great worker I am, but I would like to be able to talk to him about something other than work. Any advice?

I'm young (22) and would like to get into a career that would enable you to spend more time at home with my future kids (doesn't everyone?). I don't want to be a stay at home mom, just some more flexibility in my career. Any ideas? I'm looking for a solid career, not a get rich quick by working at home scam. Know what I mean? Thanks!
